Marriage After Age 30

I was recently conducting research and stumbled upon the following information regarding the divorce rate in the U.S. According to these numbers your marriage has a greater likelihood of success if you marry after you reach 30 years of age. Hmm… that is definitely something to consider. I have to chalk this up to the level of maturity, job focus, lack of relationship skills and not clearly knowing your requirements, needs and wants before age 30. Often, we become clearer on what what works best for us with age.

According to “Divorce Rate” (n.d.), “50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce, according to Jennifer Baker of the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri.

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%.
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%.
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%”.
