So many people want to take us back in time. Venture Capitalists appear to be on the bandwagon with their casting couch attitude toward women. Sexual harassment and sexism are alive and well in the workplace. Let’s cut all the crap and talk about the real issue. As with all the -isms, it’s about someone abusing their power by oppressing and infringing upon the rights of others. In a field dominated by men, some (not all) men are using that to make this their playground.
Thank you, California for stepping up to the plate and closing the gap with VCs. Laws are created to protect everyone’s rights. But why does an extension of the law have to be instituted? What is it that keeps us from automatically respecting each other as human beings in the workplace?
