The grass was cut as soon as the sun came out. All grass pitches add to the atmosphere and mean you can take your pick where to pitch up. The Farm is run by Chris and Laura. Further to your review the CL owners have been in touch to advise that the grass is kept short but due to the wet weather they were unable to cut it as the tractor kept blocking. Nice level spacious pitches with the option of using a mains water connector. It is a minor inconvenience which is significantly outweighed by the friendliness of the owners, and the general quality of the site. We have sheep, cattle and arable crops, along side the farming we run a small DIY livery stable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Dunsland Park, a National Trust property is only 1 mile away and is perfect for picnics and walks with 900 years of history. You will need levelling blocks.
